Abstract:
Compared with the conventional size bubbles, the micro bubbles with the particle size of 100 μm have the advantages of high mass transfer efficiency and long retention time, which has always been used in the fields such as sewage treatment and food cleaning. Based on the two-phase flow theory and level set method, the COMSOL Multiphysics fluid simulation software is used to research the mechanism and influencing factors of the formation of microbubble in the coaxial microchannel. An experimental system for the generation of microbubble is set up, and the effect of different gas pressures on the frequency and volume of microbubble generation at a fixed liquid flow rate is explored. The actual experimental value is compared with the simulation value, and the results show that the simulation value of the frequency and volume of microbubbles generated under different gas pressures has a good correlation with the experimental value.
