A new algorithm for high-resolution two-dimensional spectral estimation

In this letter, we present a new method for two-dimensional spectral estimation. This method has a computational requirement similar to that of the Maximum-Likelihood Method (MLM), but has a resolution property which is considerably better than that of the MLM.
