Optimal drawplate geometry |

| Abstract: | A method is proposed for determining optimal drawplate geometry, so as to ensure minimum stress in drawing. The drawplate’s calibration band is taken into account in optimization. For standard draw-plates, a formula has been derived for calculating the optimal extension. |
