| Abstract: | The experiments of heating, sun light irradiation and ultraviolet and 60Co irradiation upon granite stones have been carried out. Color fading and changing of the stones have been observed and described. The fading mechanism of the stones have been studied based on the experiments and the energy band theory. Thereby, some suggestions are put forward for protection the stones from fading. |
