| Abstract: | Synopsis Since high speed steel roll has advantages of high hardness, good red hardness and excellent wear-resistance, it has been widely used in steel rolling industry. This paper reviews the composition, structure, properties, manufacturing methods and service results of high speed steel roll. In addition, some problems of using it and the trends of research and development in this field are also described. |
