Effect of storage on thermal performance of a building

The effect of thermal storage on the thermal performance of a non-airconditioned room of size 6 × 4 × 2.7 m has been analysed. It is found that the presence of thermal storage decreases the swing in room temperature and that the increased surface area is more effective in reducing the temperature swing than large thermal capacity of the storage material.
