Abstract:In this paper,a new method,adaptive control of Action-dependent Heuristic Dynamic Programming(ADHDP)for the excitation voltage of synchronous generator,is introduced.Action-dependent heuristic dynamic programming,a sort of Approximate Dynamic Programming(ADP),which uses the method of nonlinear fitting to approach to the performance index function of dynamic programming,searches suboptimal solution or optimal solution.Simulation results demonstrate that,excitation system of synchronous generator controlled based on ADHDP is superior to conventional control method.
