Synthesis of a graft copolymer of cellulose with polyisoprene

Conclusions Our data on the possibility of accelerating grafting of copolymerization of polyisoprene on to cellulose or of reducing the polymerization temperature by adding to the reaction mixture small amounts of rongalite may be used for effecting graft polymerization on to cellulose not only of polydienes, but also various polyvinyl compounds.Moscow Textile Institute (MTI).
