Studying the damageability and short-term mechanical properties of grade 10Kh9V2MFBR-Sh steel during its combined thermal and mechanical loading

Results from a research work on studying the changes in the structure and properties of Grade 10Kh9V2MFBR-Sh high-chromium steel used as material for tubes occurring in the course of its long-term ageing under the effect of thermal and mechanical factors are presented. The objective of the work was to select a possible procedure and criteria for estimating the reliability of the metal of steam line tubes during their long-term operation.
