| Abstract: | Based on MBS(Multi-body System Theory),a thermal error model was presented here in four axes machining centers as well as the related compensation method. According to optimization of the measured temperature dot ,the thermal error model was established. The spatial surface was machined and experimented in vertical machining centers. An obvious improvement after the compensation was showed from the measurement results. |
