Application of C307 Catalyst in Methanol Synthesis

The process flow and main equipment involved in methanol synthesis were briefly introduced.The process of double towers in parallel was used for the 240 000 t/a methanol plant in Yankuang Guotai Chemicals Co.,Ltd.Each tower was loaded with 40t C307 low pressure methanol synthesis catalyst separately.The charge of catalyst,the temperature rising reduction,the amount of catalyst required and the operation were introduced in detail.The measures to protect the catalyst were summarized.
