| Abstract: | The paper presents the distribution of nonferrous metals mineral resources and current situation of exploitation in China and the world over. A comparison is made between China and foreign countries with regard to the exploitation of mineral resources, consumption of materials and pollution situation. The relationship between sustainable development and environmental protection is discussed, concluding that only when sustainable development is implemented can the environment be really protected. |
