| Abstract: | Common views and misunderstandings on the next generation network are briefly analyzed. The concepts of technologies related to IP telecom networks and relationships between different technologies are discussed. The service model and implementation tactics of the IP telecom network are suggested through the analysis of the roles of VoIP and softswitch technologies in the IP telecom network. |
