| Abstract: | This paper is inspired by the feminist criticism of ＂gynocriticism＂ which emphasizes the study of experiences of women writers.By tracing Porter s personal experiences and her artistic achievements,this paper tries to find the peculiar charactistics of her female consciousness.And Porter s difficult life from a common southern girl to a successful artist is also included. |
