Discussion on the Allocation of Domestic Natural Gas Reference Materials

At present,most of the analysis methods of natural gas composition are gas chromatography in China,which requires the national secondary standard materials.This paper investigates the allocation of natural gas refer-ence materials in China.It is found that the allocation of natural gas reference materials is carried out by gravimetric methods,and there are strict allocation procedures and precautions.There are nine companies that have the alloca-tion capacity of natural gas reference materials in China.Among them,only the National Institute of Metrology can allocate the national primary gas reference materials,and other companies can only allocate the national secondary gas reference materials.National Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology can be equipped with the most comprehensive natural gas reference materials.
