| Abstract: | The threshold regime of a heterogeneous, pearlitic-ferritic microstructure was investigated at R= 0.1. Not only did the ΔKth values vary depending on the test procedure in that da/dN vs ΔK curves before and after ΔKth determination were not identical but transition ΔK values also differed. The observations are correlated with inherent micro- structural features. |
