| Abstract: | After establishing a spatial model for the survey of sedimentation between cross sections in natural rivers,the various methods for calculating the distance between cross sections are discussed and their disadvantages and advantages are assessed respectively.Finally the method based on the equivalent volume principle is suggested to calculate the generalized distance between cross section in natural rivers |
