| Abstract: | Electric current gradient process was a new technique for testing the external coatings of the underground pipelines. It could be applied either for the testing and acceptance of newly built pipelines or as a rapid easy and accurate means for scheduled testing of the pipelines in service. Its application in pipeline testing in Tianjin Petrochemical Plant was introduced. |
