| Abstract: | This paper analyzes the cutting procedure of dnun shear, introduces applicable ranges of five methods to study the cutting procedure. Taking one drum shear for cold strip as subject, this paper deduces the expressions of cutting forces of the first stage where knives press in and metal is deformed, and the sec- ond stage, where metal is cut and slides. |
