Abstract:A wireless distance measuring system based on 51 single-chip microcomputer is designed in this paper. Using 90C52RC and 12C5604AD from STC as the controllers of main control terminal and measuring terminal respectively and the ultrasonic sensor as detector , the system completes real-time distance measurement . The high speed wireless data transmission is achieved by making use of nRF24L01 .The system includes two parts -- main control terminal and measuring terminal. The main control terminal controls the measuring terminal through key-press, and displays the real-time data on nixie light. This system also has a distance setting function, by which the measured data exceeding the setting value can start up the acoustic-optic alarm. The system can be used in industrial data collection , wireless meter reading, environmental monitoring and other fields.
