充电方法对电动自行车铅酸蓄电池寿命的影响

摘    要:电动自行车用铅酸蓄电池的寿命一直是生产厂家和用户密切关注的问题 ,而影响此类电池寿命的主要因素是失水和极板的硫酸盐化。我们用恒流和恒压等不同的方法为电池充电 ,并将实验中所得到的电池充放电特性、析气量和失水率等数据进行比较。结果表明 ,电池析气量和失水率高是由于充电电压过高引起的 ,而极板的硫酸盐化则是因为充电电压过低、充电容量不足。通过大量的实验数据证明 ,充电方法对电动自行车用铅酸蓄电池的寿命有很大的影响

Abstract:The main factors that affect the cycle life of lead acid battery for electric bicycle are the water loss and the sulphation of plates. The lead acid batteries for electric bicycle were charged by various charging methods, such as constant current charge and constant voltage charge. The charge/discharge characteristics, gassing volume and water loss rate of the lead acid batteries obtained from the experiments were compared. The results show that the high gassing volume and water loss rate are caused by the high charging voltage while the sulphation of plates is due to the insufficient charge capacity caused by the low charging voltage. According to the large numbers of experimental data, the charging method has great effect on the cycle life of lead acid battery for electric bicycle.
