摘    要:在分析传统模具CAM系统局限性的基础上,提出一种面向模具制造的ICAM构架。该构架基于柔性主模型概念,采用EZMap曲面表达模型,便于实现模具CAD/CAPP/CAM的集成,同时支持模具设计和制造的并行工程。刀具路径生成采用基于构形空间(Configuration Space,C-Space)的新算法,可以很好地满足模具传统和高速数控加工对CAM系统的需求,是一个理想的模具CAM构架。

Abstract:Having analyzed the inherent problems of conventional CAM systems, the paper proposes an ICAM architecture for a CAM system for die and mould machining. Using 'soft' master model concept and EZMap model representation of surface, the integration of CAD/CAPP/CAM is easily realized in the ICAM architecture. By using the master model, the ICAM architecture supports concurrent engineering in die design and machining. The configuration space (C\|Space) approach was adopted to generate tool\|path, which meets both the conventional NC machining and high speed NC machining requirements. In a word, the ICAM architecture is an idealized one.
