| Abstract: | This paper proposes a new method for laser alignment. When a circle ring situated in the front fooal plane of a convex lens is illuminated by a plane monochromatic wave, the center of diffraction pattern of the circle ring forms a straight line for alignment behind the lens.The principle as well as precision and distance for alignment are discussed in detail. The experimental results are also given. |
