Abstract:
The blended ultrafiltration membrane made of HCEC and CA has goodperformance.The influences of casting solution compostion and castingmembrane condition on membrane performance were mainly discussed inthis paper.The chemical stability,microbial decomposition resistanceand some other propertes of the membrane were also studied.The resultsshow the blend membrane made of HCEC and CA has good microbialdecomposition resistance and higher flux than the membrane solely madeof HCEC or CA.As the retention ratio of bovine serum albumin (BSA)was 98%,and at operation pressure of 196kPa,the blended membranehadits flux for pure.water more than 50 ml/cm~2h.
