| Abstract: | With nanometer pore structure, nanometer porous materials mainly containing silica aerogel have an excellent property in thermal insulation. This paper gives an introduction to its mechanism in thermal insulation and its developing history, including its making process. Also, its performances and its characteristics in applications are presented in detail. |
