| Abstract: | The development history of railways is introduced first. With the examples of the reasons why the injuries of common types in the steel rails in service occur, the technical requirements of high cleanness, high strength and toughness, excellent dimensional accuracy and high flatness for the rails used in high speed rail way are particularly discussed, and the noticeable problems in the production are also pointed out in this paper. |
