An Evaluation of Chromium OS:the Next Generation Operating System

Operating system is a vital part of the computer system. It acts as an interface between user applications and the computer hardware,and provides users the ability to perform I/O tasks and keeps the track of file system. The operating system is also responsible for the security of a system and gives access to only authorized users.Traditional operating system does not require networking capabilities, but most supports networking protocols. Chromium OS is a web-based operating system that provides avid Internet users an alternative, faster, and more secure way to access the Internet and its many web-based applications. Chromium OS is designed with security in mind from the firmware level to the application level. The goal of Chromium OS is to act as an auxiliary computing device for users who work mostly on the Internet and to provide users a steady computing experience across different physical devices.
