Research on fixing device of welded spherical hinge for space truss

In the construction of long-span steel structure grid, the quality of grid welding plays an important role in the mechanical properties and safety of grid structure. There is no fixed and unified welding construction method for single square pyramid grid unit in the construction process of this project. The spherical hinge fixing device used in this study is composed of bottom support, inter span adjusting rod, inter span adjusting shaft, middle adjusting rod, upper spherical hinge support and upper rod support. After adjusting the spacing of each spherical hinge, the hollow steel ball supported by it is welded with the circular pipe. Then through the ANSYS modeling analysis to study the stress change of the device before and after welding.
