Solving electromagnetic field problems using a multiple gridtransmission-line modeling method

A multiple grid technique for solving electromagnetic field problems using the transmission-line modeling (TLM) method is described. The ideal conversion conditions across the interface between fine and coarse mesh regions are described and the implications of making the approximations needed for a practical implementation are discussed.
