Nicolet 6700 infrared spectrometric analyzer was employed to determine the dimethyl ether(DME) content in liquefied petroleum gas(LPG).Quantitative analysis was performed by TQ Analyst EZ Edition 8.0(Thermo) analysis software.Thus a new method for the determination of DME content in liquefied petroleum gas was set up-Fourier transform infrared spectrometry(FTIR).Compared to the results of gas chromatography method,Fourier transform infrared spectrometry method was completely feasible to determine DME conten...
