The Selection of Isolating Devices

Isolating devices are related to personal safety, which should be rationally selected and utilized. Only when the isolating devices possess three prerequisites, which are the indication requirement of the moving contact at the off position, the requirement of the rated impulse withstand voltage to be endured and the requirement of allowable leakage current values between lead-in and out terminals of each electrode, can they be used as isolating devices.
