Business information systems should support intimate cooperation in and among enterprises, so the macrostructure of enterprise information systems is process integration among enterprises. The emergence and development of web service provides new realization means for process integration among enterprises. The modeling and control of business workflows should be independent of business functions and business rules, so that enterprise information system can accommodate ever changing organization structure and business workflows. In order to accomplish integration of finance and operation, the microstructure should adopt the pattern of "business event driven."
