Urban Eden——The Planning and Design of the Modern Art Park in Beijing CBD Area

As a product of urbanization, urban park has become the main body of landscape architecture practice since 19th century, and is still the most important practice type for landscape architects today. In a unique urban area as CBD, how to create a comfortable green space is a professional field that still needs to be explored in the new times. The Modern Art Park in Beijing CBD Area is used as an example, from both planning and design aspects, to thoroughly explain the logical thinking process of the project from concept to realization, and advance the idea of exterior environment design as "base tone", trying to provide a new research thought for creating ideal urban space under special conditions.
