Activity-dependent synaptic plasticity: a new face of action for neurotrophins

The paper attempt a NPG definition in the light of the most recently data from literature. Modern investigation techniques (CDI, LDF, laser scan angiography) are summarized to support the presently most accepted pathogenic theory--the vascular theory. There are also reviewed the main clinical conditions to do differential diagnosis and main methods of its treatment.
