Abstract:Organic-inorganic hybrid optical waveguide materials were prepared by non-hydrolytic sol-gel process, using diphenylsilanediol (DPSD) and gamma-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane (GPTS) as precursors. The planar optical waveguide films were deposited on silica glass substrates by spin-coating.
