| Abstract: | Chirped fiber gratings have important applications in diffuse compensation of long distance and high velocity fiber communication systems. Signal compress, increase level and other. Methods of fabricating chirped fiber gratings are introduced. By changing effective refractive index, grating constant or changing effective refractive index and grating constant simultaneously, their characteristics and performance are also discussed. |
