Abstract: | C. W. Hughes and J. J. Lynch's (see record 1979-12747-001) article supports arguments relating survival time of rats in the Richter swimming apparatus to ontogenetic, physiological, and situational variables. Experiences with the sudden death of zoo animals, particularly ungulates, are discussed with reference to this argument. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2010 APA, all rights reserved) |
