Abstract: | Reviews historical as well as recent developments in the area of health care psychology for children. This area is contrasted with both behavioral medicine for adults and the traditional areas of child psychology. Certain unique characteristics of psychodiagnosis and psychotherapy in health care psychology are pointed out.
