Design and Practice of a High-power Klystron Transmitter

High-power klystron is an important direction of klystron development.In this paper,the operation principle of high-power klystron is introduced and its application in different fields is described.Then the design principle and the system con- figuration of the transmitter are introduced in detail,based on the research of a high-power ldystron transmitter.Finally,the result of testing the transmitter system is given,and aspects of improving the high power klystron transmitter are pointed out.
