Abstract:Sepiolite was treated to change its surface properties by a certain acidic solution.The experimental results showed that the temperature,ratio of solid to liquid,acidity and acid type would have a large effect on the sepiolite specific surface areas and its absorption ability to Mn 2 .The adsorption performance of ten sorts of metal ion was also measured.
