Application of Xiangxi Woodcarving Art in Ethnic Furniture

During the long history of development,Xiangxi minority has formed their own special folk customs,the woodcarving art grown up under the background of cultural ecology which has its own outstanding national characters and regional features.This paper analyses the traditional woodcarving art of Xiangxi used in architectural furniture、indoor furniture,custom and etiquette furniture in order to let more people know about the traditional woodcarving art of Xiangxi and make it get fine continuation and inheritance.
