Analysis of Optimized Fast Drilling Technology Applied in Yuejin Oilfield

There are various ways to increase drilling speed such as the optimization of wellbore configuration, bit type, drilling assembly and parameter and the use of proper drilling pattern.As a newly developed oilfield, Yuejin Oilfield has larger differences in geologic and formation characteristics, where target layer hides in the deeper earth, diverse strata are encountered during drilling, there is a big lithology difference between strata, pressure system is relatively complicated and therefore the choice of drilling technology is crucial. This paper contrasts the drilling tech- nologies applied in completed wells in order to find out optimized fast drilling technology which is the most suitable for Yuejin Oilfield.
