| 摘 要： | 车辆牌照识别系统即基于图像和字符识别技术的智能化交通管理系统，是智能交通系统的重要组成部分。通过对车辆牌照识别系统及识别技术的分析，总结出进一步研究车辆牌照识别技术的必要性，并提出将模板匹配与支持向量机相结合进行字符识别的算法思想。

| Abstract: | The vehicle license plate recognition system is an intelligent traffic control system based on image and technique of character recognition. This paper summarizes the necessity of vehicle license plate recognition technology through the analysis of the vehicle license plate recognition system and recognition technology, and proposes a character recognition algorithm based template matching and SVM. |
