| Abstract: | This paper using FEM analyses the three dimensional(3 D) behaviour of excavation,and discusses the distribution of the deformation of retaining wall,ground settlement and earth pressure.The results have been compared with 2 D behavior,and some valuable conclusions are drawn.It is hoped that this paper might be a reference for engineers. |
