Stability of Difference Splitting Schemes for Convection Diffusion Equation

Abstract:We consider numerical modeling of the propagation of pollution in the air on the basis of geometrical splitting method for three-dimensional nonstationary convection diffusion equations. Splitting difference schemes in the form of explicit computing schemes are proposed to solve the obtained one-dimensional problems. The approximation, monotonicity, and stability of the proposed difference schemes are investigated.
