淀粉颜料化表面施胶改善彩色激光打印性能的研究

摘    要:以淀粉为施胶剂,采用碳酸钙对其进行颜料化,并对纸张进行表面施胶。在固含量12%和14%的条件下,系统地研究了不同颜料化比例对纸张物理性能和激光打印性能的影响。研究得出:随着颜料化比例的增加,白度和不透明度呈直线上升趋势;颜料化表面施胶能有效改善图像阶调再现,提高图像层次感,当淀粉与碳酸钙的比例为10:1时,纸张的平滑度、色密度、阶调再现和清晰度均达到最大值;固含量增加能够增加激光打印性能的改善程度,但其幅度不大。

Abstract:The surface sizing with starch and calcium carbonate at different proportion were applied under the condition of solid content 12% and 14%. The effects of pigment-added surface sizing on the paper physical performance and laser printing properties were studied. The results show that the brightness and opacity are improved gradually with the increase of pigment ratio. Pigment-added surface sizing could improve the image tone reproduction and definition effectively. When the starch and calcium carbonate ratio is l0 to 1, the paper smoothness, color density, tone reproduction, and definition are obtained at the optimal values. The increase of the solid content can improve laser printing properties slightly.
