This paper aims to study the application background,development trend and significance of the concept of green environmental protection in clothing design.The method mainly adopts case analysis method and literature research method to Stella Mccartney clothing taking the design recycling mechanism of H&M and other brands as an example,this paper analyzes the specific application of green environmental protection concept in clothing design from the aspects of color,surface material and design,so as to enhance the awareness of green environmental protection innovation At the same time,combined with the traditional Chinese clothing culture and the application of all-round color,and draw lessons from foreign advanced design experience,put forward the feasibility of green environmental protection concept in the application of clothing design,focusing on causing clothing designers to think comprehensively.
