基于增强并行口EPP协议的CAN控制器设计

摘    要:CAN总线接口卡以ISA和PCI居多,现场测试不方便。EPP是双向数据传输的增强并行口协议,速度较高,扩展方便,手提电脑均支持。详细分析了EPP协议的工作特点,用可编辑器件GAL实现了接口协议转换,给出了便携式CAN控制器的硬件组成及软件设计实现,并对硬件设计做了详尽的分析。

Abstract:In present, there are many interface cards of CAN bus through ISA and PCI, they are not easy to test in field. EPP is a bi directional data communication protocol of enhanced parallel port, it has performances of high speed and easy extensibility, which is provided by luggable computer. The paper analyzes the work feature of EPP and implements the protocol conversion of EPP interface with GAL device. The circuit schematics and software implement of EPP CAN controller is presented in this paper. In the same time, the several key technologies are explained in the design.
