The Influence of Europe Building Style on the Early 20th-Century Building in China

Since 1840,China has presented a brand-new look,and many new buildings came out.There are some foreigners who move their the building styles into china,there are also some China’s domestic constructors who link some of the characteristics of Western architecture with its own characteristics to develop the hybrid type,moreover some Chinese architects who studied abroad and returned to their homeland began their reflection and exploration on Chinese construction future.During this period,a number of Western architectural features and decorative approach has its own unique position and role.Research on the role of these elements has enormous inspiration and reference on our protection,inheritance,and the development of China’s domestic architectural features.
