| Abstract: | The resent paper introduces the application of poor manganese ore in the converter steel making process and actual results. It is proved that use of poor manganese ore in the converter practice can prominently improve the meltability of the slag and raise the content of manganese residue in the liquid steel and reduce the cost of steel making. |
